Description
Henry Wieniawski was a violinist of genius and wrote some of the most important compositions in the violin repertoire. Legende was written after Wieniawski’s father-in-law rejected Wieniawski’s request to marry his daughter. However after hearing this masterwork he revoked his decision and allowed them to marry! This frequently performed romantic showpiece requires a nice wide vibrato with clean intonation.
