But that’s where the similarities end,because the Paranormal Bass Direct Box also features active EQ and a SlapContour switch. Use it on stage to split a signal between your amplifier and themixing board. The Paranormal features three bands of active EQ specifically optimized forbass. This allows you to dial in your tone in any room, sculpting your lows,mids, and highs quickly and easily with up to 12dB of boost or cut for each bandof EQ. It’s the perfect solution for bassists who want the flexibility of anactive system but don’t want to modify their instrument. The SFX-06 alsofeatures our proprietary Slap Contour switch, which applies an additional presetEQ curve to whatever settings you’ve chosen with the 3-band EQ. This produces atone that’s perfect for slap playing but also works great as an alternate soundfor fingerstyle or pick playing.
