Modeled after the famous instrument made by Guarneri del Gesù, Il Cannone, Paganini 1743, Sheridan’s replica made in 2020 is a delight to play.
This violin has a very deep and sweet tone, solid projection with a clean and excellent response. The violin has a beautiful deep brown color and Sheridan’s unique “Cat and the Fiddle”label from Mother Goose’s poemprovides a lot of individuality and personality to this instrument.
Martin Sheridan is a gifted luthier from Fort Madison, Iowa, making violins, violas, cellos, double basses, and guitars.
