After the success of ourMad Cat tribute guitar, we’vehad countless requeststo do a similar guitar in various finishes. While it would be impossible to do them all, we thought it would beneattoblend the Mad Catspecs with some other iconicaesthetics… and what better place to start than with the Rosewood Tele?
Fans of George Harrisonare sure to recognize thebold, yet elegant appearance of this guitar- but don’t let its looks fool you. This Mad Cat RT is every bit as wild as ourfirst release!
This guitar will feature a Solid Ash Body topped with a Natural RosewoodVeneer.We’ll use Roasted Maple for the neck, and its 21 medium-jumbo frets will be set into a Rosewood Fingerboard.The RT willsport the same custom single coil pickups as the Mad Cat, contributing to its unique “spank”, as described by RJ Ronquillio.
Sure, there are quite a few options out there already for something similar – cheap Chinese versions for $200 to high-end custom builds for $3,000+ to the originals that are in the $7,000 range. We’ve decided it’s time to change things up a bit, and do it at an affordable price range. The resultis a high-end, professionally playable instrument. IMPORTANT: These will be built in our top Korean factory – you will NOT be disappointed in the quality.
