The Barcus-Berry 3100 piezo pickup for violin clamps onto the side of the bridge with two small phillips screws. This makes it a nearly-perfect solution for the classical violinist who occasionally needs to play amplified, but doesn’t want to modify their bridge or instrument in any way. The Barcus-Berry pickup produces a strong, rich amplified tone, well-balanced across the full range of your instrument. For parents of younger players, and teachers building mixed-age electric/amplified ensembles, we can also modify the turnbuckles of the carpenter output jack to fit it to fractional-sized instruments!
