Description
Albeniz wrote this piece originally for piano and it communicates all the brilliance and passion that one associates with Spanish music.It alludes to an ancient legend in the bygone kingdom of Asturias, a part of Spain with many Moroccan influences. String techniques such as glissandi, harmonics,tremolo, trills, pizzicato andsulponticellohighlight the intensity and colour in this haunting work. Grade 3.5.
