About the Maker:
Maurizio Tadioli, born in Cremona in 1967, began studying violin making as a child under his grandfather, self-taught luthier Carlo Pizzamiglio. He graduated with top honours from the Scuola Internazionale di Liuteria in 1985 and has since earned numerous awards, including medals at the Bagnacavallo and Baveno competitions. Tadioli has studied with renowned makers such as Samuel Zygmuntowicz and Christian Bajon. Working from his workshop in Cortetano, he creates instruments inspired by Cremonese, Emiliana, Torinese, and Milanese traditions, attracting musicians and fellow luthiers from around the world.
At Simply for Strings, our team of professional luthiers and staff ensure thatour antiqueinstruments are restored and setup to our highest standards.
